Showcase for talent

A Talent Showcase in aid of a Rwandan orphanage proved a great success.

Local folk packed out Slitting Mill Village Hall on Saturday for the event.

One of the performers Paul Poulton (pictured) told The Post: "The place was bursting at the seams, there was a great friendly atmosphere and we had lots of fun. The audience didn't want the concert to finish."

Thanks to the success of the event organisers are now looking to hold another.
