Cocktail of a play

Tickets are now sale for Penkridge Amateur Dramatic Society's next production - Shakers.

Written by John Godber (Up n Under, Bouncers), Shakers tells the story of a typical evening in a busy cocktail bar as seen through the eyes of four waitresses.

Billed as 'funny and poignant' the audience learns about the girls' lives, hopes and dreams.

The audience also meets a cross section of Shakers' customers.

The show is staged at Peace Memorial Hall, Penkridge, from Thursday to Saturday October 2-4, from 7.30pm.

A licensed bar is available.
