Story gave me courage

Sir, May I express my thanks to both Mystic Ed and Brian Murphy, although I have never met or spoke to them, after reading your story about them and the IDAHO (International Day against Homophobia)

I was inspired enough to ‘come out’ to both my friends and family, I must admit that I was very scared about doing this but the response has overall been positive.

I had never heard of the IDAHO before but I can only say that it shows how much tolerance and understanding there is in the world today.

So my message to anybody out there reading this and who is in the same situation is don’t be scared and be yourself.
