Railings are a boost for safety

Sir, On behalf of the residents of Westbourne Avenue, Cannock, I would like to say a big thank you to former county councillor Dennis Dixon for his assistance in arranging for the erection of safety railings at the junction of Westbourne Avenue and Stafford Road, Cannock.

This work has considerably improved the safety of motorists and pedestrians residing in the Avenue.

Whenever contact was made with Cllr Dixon with regard to any problem, without hesitation he always gave his tireless support until the matter was resolved.

We, the residents of the Avenue, hope this excellent service will continue from the newly elected county councillor. Fingers crossed.
