Sir, I care for my three grandsons, they are four, seven and eight years old. During school holidays I struggle to find things to entertain them, especially if the weather is bad. I was then told about Norton Canes family fun club which ran through the summer holidays every Thursday at Norton Canes Community Centre.

Sir, I have sent you this poem I wrote some time ago, about the old Hednesford, when it was a great place to be. It was very proud of its heritage (and still should be). A great social meeting place. Where everyone almost knew everyone.

Sir, I think it is wrong that Mr Derek Evans should be made to stop cutting the grass at Cannock Cemetery as reported in the Chase Post on Thursday, August 12. My father’s grave was one of those along where Mr Evans was cutting and it used to look lovely. Very tidy indeed.

Sir, Dunfightin is sadly wrong in his recent letter. If his Labour colleagues really wanted to save our councillors’ expenses then they would step up to the plate and implement the Conservative offer to fill the Shadow Cabinet positions they still enjoy at no extra cost to the Council.
